Quiet Invitation

Travel has always been an important part of my life. On a recent trip,  I wanted to paint something meaningful from the beautiful scenes in Japan.  This is inspired from a picture I took of a park with the cherry blossom trees in the background. I loved the contrast of the dark evergreens with the pink blossoms of the cherry trees. Being there was magical, and I hope you feel some of the peace and magic that I felt when I was there.
