Cabin Hide Away

“I started this piece with careful drawing. I enjoyed the attention to detail.  I had been to similar places in my life, and as I painted, I imagined visiting this house” explained artist Joanie Ford.  She said she could imagine someone sitting on the rocks, listening to the water and walking on the dock. This painting combines warm and cool tones suggestive of a summer day.
